Previously, the official picture of the 2025 BYD seal "Skyrim Purple" has been released, which is not much different from the current model. As a reference, the body size of the BYD seal currently on sale is 4800x1875x1460mm, and the wheelbase is 2920mm; the price range is 17.98-24 9,800 yuan. The current BYD Seal Honor Edition rear-drive version CLTC has a cruising range of 550km and 700km, and the four-wheel drive version is 650km. At present, the powertrain specifications have not been officially announced.
The 2025 BYD Seal is based on the BYD e-Platform 3.0 Evo and features an 800V high-voltage architecture. In terms of appearance, the logo above the taillights has been changed from "Build Your Dream" to a luminous "BYD". The front of the car is still a closed front face, and the headlights are slender, with optional roof lidar and rear camera.
The overall interior adopts BYD’s latest Ocean Series style, with a standard five-seat layout and seats printed with wavy patterns, echoing the name of the Ocean Series.
The new coral orange color scheme is highly recognizable, hidden air conditioner out of trend, D-shaped steering wheel, floating central control screen, instrument panel, simple center console equipped with wireless charging panel, cup holder, multiple physical buttons, size parameters have not been disclosed yet.
In addition, BYD sold 342,383 vehicles in July, including 340,799 passenger vehicles, an increase of 30.5% year-on-year. In the first seven months of 2024, BYD’s cumulative sales of passenger vehicles were 1,947,944.
